Using a sketchbook daily has been vital at helping me become a better illustrator. It allows me to experiment with ideas, work with different materials and loosen up! I use it as a tool to observe as I draw outside and also as a tool to get me out of my creative funk. I love to work something out on a page and often if I'm doing sketchbook work I then try to replicate the textures and ways of working digitally in procreate.
